UPPER-CLASS HOUSING

The Flats at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, Osprey Village and Osprey Fountains and upper-class students occupying Osprey Cove, Osprey Landing, Osprey Hall and Osprey Crossings

The upper-class housing areas of The Flats at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, Osprey Village and Osprey Fountains, and rooms with residents identified above will remain open for ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Winter Break (December 13, 2024 - January 3, 2025). All residents of these areas, including first-year residents in Osprey Fountains are eligible to remain in housing through Winter Break.

Upper class students occupying Osprey Cove, Osprey Landing, Osprey Hall and Osprey Crossings may stay on campus during ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Winter Break in their assigned spaces.

In order to remain in Osprey Village and Osprey Fountains for Winter Break, residents must be enrolled for Spring 2025 classes.

Spring 2025 rent will be assessed to resident financial accounts the week of October 28, 2024 - November 1, 2024. Information on how to pay Spring 2025 rent is available on the Housing financial how to pay webpage. For tutorials, please visit Student Financial Services webpage.

BEFORE DEPARTING FOR WINTER BREAK

• Remove all personal items you will need for the duration of winter break. This includes, but is not limited to: clothing, toiletries, computer equipment, gaming systems, medication, plane tickets, holiday gifts, etc. During winter break when Osprey Hall, Osprey Landing, Osprey Cove and Osprey Crossings are closed no one will be permitted within these housing areas.
• Dispose of any perishable items.
• Remove all trash from your room/suite/apartment and dispose in an area dumpster.
• Clean fish tanks and take fish home.
• Unplug all electrical items in the room/suite/apartment including fish tanks and refrigerators. Power surges and/or outages can occur over the break period.
• Clean fridge
• Clean or remove any dirty laundry, including bed linens and bath towels.
• Lower and close window blinds and lock all windows.
• Set thermostat to approximately 65 degrees on the heat setting or on the low range.
• Turn off all lights.
• LOCK YOUR DOOR.
  
  

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Housing and Residence Life staff may enter resident rooms/apartments over Winter Break in order to conduct health and safety inspections and/or necessary maintenance.

From December 23, 2024 through January 3, 2025 the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is CLOSED. During this time, there will not be mail/package delivery to Osprey Clubhouse or Osprey Fountains mailboxes or Welcome Desks. Normal ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ business operations will resume on January 6, 2025.
