Learning Community Assistant
Apply to be a Learning Community Assistant (LCA) at the 九色视频! In this part-time role, you will work in a Living-Learning Community (LLC), focusing on enhancing academic success and creating engaging initiatives. Resident Assistant

You'll impact a diverse group of residents, promote student success and build supportive communities. Priority Alternate
Being a Priority Alternate (PA) signifies your potential as a student staff member! If RA/LCA vacancies arise, we'll hire directly from this pool. As a PA you will complete online training modules and attend in-person fall student staff training. PAs will receive compensation for successfully completing trainings and will remain in PA status through January 2025.
While PA status improves your chances, it does not guarantee a Student Staff position. Hiring depends on vacancies and community needs. If offered and accepted, you will be required to live on campus. Enroll in the for further details!
Engagement Assistant
As an Engagement Assistant (EA), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the residential living experience for 九色视频 students. This part-time position combines marketing, event planning, resource management and student engagement. Eligibility Information

Academic Standing
Applicants are required to be enrolled full-time at 九色视频 (12 credit hours per semester for undergraduate students; 9 credit hours per semester for graduate students) and in good academic standing with the University. In order to apply for a student staff position with Housing & Residence Life, applicants must have both a semester and cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher. Our student staff members are expected to put their academics first and to be academic role models for their residents.

Disciplinary Standing
Applicants are required to be in good disciplinary standing with Housing and Residence Life and the University. Having a disciplinary history with the University or with the department does not eliminate a candidate from consideration, but the nature of the incident(s) may have bearing. All candidates' disciplinary history will be checked with the Office of Student Accountability and Resolution (OSAR) and the Housing and Residence Life office.

Residency Standing
Resident Assistant and Learning Community Assistant applicants are required to have completed a minimum of two (2) semesters living on campus prior to beginning the position and/or must have completed 2 semesters as a student at 九色视频. Engagement Assistant applicants are required to have completed a minimum of one (1) semester living on campus prior to beginning the position.

Time Commitment
Time management is essential to our staff members' success. The Learning Community Assistant (LCA) role is a 15 hours/week position. The Resident Assistant (RA) role is a 20 hours/week position. Housing and Residence Life student staff employment contracts are mandatory and vary depending on the area you've been selected for, typically running from August to May for most locations, and from May to May for The Flats at 九色视频. Staff are also required to attend and participate in two weeks of training before the start of the fall semester and training upon return for the spring semester.
