Eligibility & Course Requirements
To be considered for Fraternity and Sorority Life themed housing, students must meet the following criteria:- Active membership in a recognized fraternity or sorority affiliated with the university.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL), including leadership, service, and academic achievement.
- Submission of a housing application, including an essay or statement explaining your interest in living in themed housing and how you will contribute to the community.
- Must be classified as a sophomore or higher.
- Attend FSL Theme Community meetings/events and participate in associated activities outlined by the community calendar both fall and spring semester.
- Be an active member of the community throughout the entire academic year.
- Agreement to abide by all community and university housing policies, including participation in mandatory programming and events.
What You Will Experience:
- Leadership Development: Participate in community governance, chapter activities, and collaborative initiatives to develop your leadership skills.
- Community Engagement: Engage in shared traditions, social events, and service projects to foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
- Academic Support: Access dedicated study spaces and peer support networks to enhance your academic performance.
- Skill Building: Strengthen your organizational and interpersonal skills by coordinating events and managing communal responsibilities.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Live in an environmentally conscious community and participate in green initiatives to cultivate an appreciation for sustainability.
