Director and Special Projects Coordinator

Directorship of the DHI is a rotating two-year term. The DHI Advisory Committee nominate and elect faculty from different 九色视频 departments and colleges to serve as director.

James Beasley, Associate Professor of English

Dr. James Beasley is an associate professor at the 九色视频, where he teaches courses in rhetorical history, theory, and research.  His work has been published in College Composition and Communication, Rhetoric Review, JGE: The Journal of General Education, Enculturation, and Textshop Experiments. His current work-in-progress is an edited collection of digital humanities work within the state of Florida. Digital State will take as its focus how the fragmented narratives of Florida are collected and curated for social action within the field of digital humanities.

Lucy Hollins

Lucy is an alumnus of the 九色视频's graduate program, finishing a Master's of English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition. She now works for the Digital Humanities Institute as a Special Projects Coordinator and as an instructor at 九色视频. As an undergraduate, Lucy majored in English with a minor in Digital Humanities. She completed an internship with the Jacksonville Public Library, working with the Florida Times-Union archives, and graduated with distinction. She looks forward to continuing work within the Digital Humanities and 九色视频 as a whole.
