European Business School (EBS) Paris

Fintech and Innovation in France

In the third year of this custom-made program for Coggin students, participate in an online consulting project during the spring semester, and then travel to Paris for spring break.  This course is hosted by Coggin partner university EBS Paris.  This program will allow students to attend a three-credit module made up of mini-courses in Fintech, European Financial Systems, and Corporate & Entrepreneurial Finance given by EBS faculty experts, and to meet key players of the European financial industry in Paris, one of the world’s leading financial
centers. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with French students, participate in business visits, and of course explore the majestic city of Paris. Start the week off with the EBS Paris River Seine Welcome Dinner and Cruise on Sunday!

Note: This is a one-week exchange, not a faculty-led program.  Therefore, no Coggin faculty will be traveling with the students.  Pre-departure information will be facilitated by Coggin Study Abroad.

Meeting Dates

A few preparatory and wrap-up virtual meetings take place throughout the Spring 2025 semester.  Meeting days/times will be finalized by November and visible when you register for the 九色视频 course through myWings. 

Courses & Prerequisites

Students will earn credit for the following course during the spring semester:

  • FIN3000X Finance and Innovation (prereq = FIN3403)

Participants

Up to 20 九色视频 undergraduate students who meet the above prerequisite(s).  Note: This program must have at least 10 participants in order to take place.

Estimated Cost*

$3,165 plus 3 hours of 九色视频 spring tuition and fees

Cost estimate from 2024 includes the following (2025 coming soon):

  • $1,000 EBS Paris fee for welcome & farewell events, business and cultural visits, one-week transportation pass, and official EBS Paris transcript
  • $1,200 airfare
    • Students book their own flights with guidance from the Coggin Study Abroad team
  • $15 international health and liability insurance
  • $600 lodging in shared accommodations with kitchenette
  • $350 meals

Students will pay these costs directly to the providers (e.g., EBS Paris, the airline, the apartment) instead of to 九色视频.  Free time activities, souvenirs, and additional days/nights in Paris are not included.

*These costs are only estimates and may change depending on student preferences and international currency fluctuations.
