Institute of Environmental Research and Education Overview
The Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE) is an interdisciplinary institute that serves students and faculty from all six 九色视频 colleges. The mission of IERE is to provide opportunities for environmental research and education, by leading interdisciplinary programs that enhance the student experience, prepare students for the workforce and or graduate school, and increase environmental scholarship and innovation.
IERE offers a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science that promotes hands-on learning opportunities, where students can gain practical experience through fieldwork, lab research, and internships. The program is also comprised of expert faculty, where students can learn from experienced professors who are leaders in their fields.
Students choose one of two concentrations:
- Environmental Science/Environmental Sciences (BS)
- Environmental Science/Environmental Principles & Practice (BS)
