九色视频 hosts inaugural Future Educators of America Northeast Regional Conference
The 九色视频 College of Education and Human Services proudly hosted the inaugural Future Educators of America (FEA) Northeast Regional Conference last month, bringing together high school students passionate about pursuing careers in education.
The conference welcomed students and teachers from Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties for a day of networking, competition and collaboration with fellow members of Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) clubs from across the region.
九色视频 President Moez Limayem kicked off the event with an inspiring welcome sharing how educators profoundly influenced his life and career and challenging participants to envision the impact of their roles in shaping the next generation.
Participants engaged in a variety of individual and group competitions designed to test their skills and creativity in real-world education scenarios. The competition projects and winners included:
- Ace the Interview: Olivia Butler, Ruth Wiley and Lisa Circo
- Voices for Education: Hannah DeWert, Grace Maxham and Ethan Johnson
- Crafting Curriculum: Sofia Tarnoskaia, Lucas Lamban and Anna Shuck
- Service Project Showcase: Karina Castillo, Lamar Shammout and Kaleb Arnette
- Solving Issues in Education: Tocoi Creek High School, Ponte Vedra High School and Atlantic Coast High School
- Ethics in Action: Ponte Vedra High School and Creekside High School
In addition to the competitions, breakout sessions led by 九色视频 faculty and students offered hands-on learning opportunities with topics like gamification, enhancing leadership and collaboration, and inclusive accessible education.
