九色视频 Student-Installed Sculptures on Display at Jacksonville International Airport
The 九色视频’s Department of Art and Design Sculpture Program is the featured exhibitor in the Sky Gallery at Jacksonville International Airport, through April 30, 2024.
Multiple sculptures created by approximately 20 九色视频 students have been on display since Feb. 2 in the Sky Gallery, along with posters featuring maquettes – small models – of this year’s large-scale student sculptures currently on exhibit at the 九色视频 Seaside Sculpture Park located at 480 First Street South in Jacksonville Beach, as well as those from 2023.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to present their pieces of art for public enjoyment,” said Aisling McDonald, instructor at 九色视频’s Sculpture Program. “The sculptures help build an appreciation of art as well as foster creative and critical thought.”
The Sky Gallery is one of two areas located pre-security and is next to the Haskell Gallery in the central courtyard. The Gallery is open to the public every day from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Sculptures from last year’s exhibition at the 九色视频 Seaside Sculpture Park are currently being auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the 九色视频 Sculpture Program.
