Purpose

 The purpose of the gift is to support students engaged in original scholarly research within the Department of History.

Selection Criteria 

1.   Students eligible for such scholarships must:
   
   • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ
   • Earn a minimum ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ GPA of 3.0
   • Declare an undergraduate or graduate major in History
   • Be selected by a committee of History faculty
2. Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:
   
   • Maintain a ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ GPA of at least 3.0
   • Comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
   • Remain in good standing as a student
