Admissions Deadlines

To apply to the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, you must complete the following steps:

1. Complete the online application through our .
2. Pay the $30 non-refundable application fee or submit an application fee waiver.
   • Students may pay the $30 application fee when they submit their online application or after they submit the application.
   • ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ accepts the  transfer application fee waivers for eligible students. Completed waivers can be uploaded through your applicant portal.
3. Send your college transcript(s) from every institution you have attended to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.
   • Upload PDFs of your unofficial transcripts through your applicant portal. These transcripts can be used for rendering a decision.
   • Send official transcripts directly from your college or university. We must receive final and official transcripts from every institution you have attended, even if we render your initial decision using your unofficial transcripts.
4. Send your high school transcript(s) to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ (high school transcript is not required, but can be reviewed for foreign language credit for a bachelor's degree requirement).  
   • Request an electronic transcript to be sent directly from your high school (preferred).
   • Mail an official transcript in the original sealed envelope to the Office of Admissions.
   • Drop off an official transcript in the original sealed envelope to the Office of Admissions.

A high school transcript is not required, but can be reviewed for foreign language credit for a bachelor's degree requirement.

Submission options:

Contact your high school guidance counselor and/or school registrar and ask them to send us your transcript electronically through the FASTER (009841) or SPEEDE (5490) system.

• Drop off your transcript

Pick up a sealed copy of your transcript at your high school and drop it off at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ's One-Stop Student Services. You can also mail it to: ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Enrollment Services, 1 ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224

Submit your college transcripts

Remember, we need a transcript from every institution attended, even if the coursework is on another transcript.

  • Make sure that your full name and the institution name are visible on the document
  • Make sure the grading scale is included
  • Transcripts uploaded through the portal can be used to render a decision, but will be considered unofficial; you will still need to have official copies sent electronically or via mail.

Admitted students are required to submit final, official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended no later than 30 days after beginning classes at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. Transcripts must have a print date less than a year old to be considered official.

Some programs require students to meet additional admissions requirements and may have additional deadlines. Admission to these programs is competitive. Applicants to these programs must meet or exceed the admissions requirements as established by the individual programs. The following programs have a specialized or selective admissions process:

Decision notification process

Once an application is complete with all required documents, the Office of Admissions will review applications on a 6-8 week turnaround. Applicants should check on the status of their application online.

Appeals process

A student who is denied admission to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ has a right to appeal that decision. If they choose to appeal, the student must submit a letter and supporting documentation, detailing the reason the application should be reviewed.

The supporting documentation that substantiates the appeal must be new information not provided as part of the initial application.

Examples of supporting documentation include:

• Updated post-secondary transcripts showing satisfactory or improved college coursework
• Documentation to support situations that are out of the student's control, if applicable

Applicants who wish to appeal a denial based on a disability may submit documentation verifying the disability along with the letter of appeal. If applicable, we recommend also including updated transcripts or new test scores.

Please note that there is no guarantee an appeal decision will result in admission to the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. The likelihood a decision will be reversed on appeal is low. We always recommend that students be prepared to pursue alternative academic plans. We are willing to provide assistance with college options.

I will have earned at least 60 transferable college credits, including more than 30 credits at the participating Florida state college, but transferred to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ before completing an A.A. degree.

• “X” in the course number
  • An “X” in the course number (e.g., ABC X789) is a wild card. That is, the course can be any level from 1-4.  For example, ABC 1789, ABC 2789, ABC 3789, or ABC 4789.
• Earned Credits (EC)
  • Refers to credit hours passed with a grade of “D” or higher and/or a grade of “S” (Satisfactory). This category does not include 0 level, vocational, occupational, or technical courses.
• Attempted Credits (AC)
  • Refers to any course appearing on the transcript with a letter grade (including a “W” or an “I”). This number is important because some financial aid packages set limits on the number of attempted credit hours. This category does not include 0 level, vocational, occupational, or technical courses.
• Completion Rate (CR)
  • The completion rate is determined by dividing the number of earned credits by the number of attempted credits, not including any in-progress coursework. You must complete at least 67% of credits attempted.
• Transferable Credits
  • Credits that are accepted by the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ reflecting prior learning. Please see the Transfer Credits page for more information.
